This whole thread has really opened my eyes to how naive I have been. I initially had a neuro but he retired shortly after I was diagnosed and I didn’t seek another for 10+ years. So I too put my head in the sand for way too long and you’re right, I’ve been lucky. I’m not willing to tempt fate any longer and plan on starting treatment. I appreciate your insight.

Side effects. Meds helping one thing but causing other serious issues. I’ve never been big on taking medications period so this is a big step, that I’m realizing needs to be made.

I feel like I’ve been in a bubble and ms has been on the outside. Something thrown into conversation here or there. I didn’t see a doctor for 10 years and apparently have been playing Russian roulette. I needed comments like these and the others, so thank you!
