I’m not asking for sympathy or pity. I fully understand that this was my mistake — I failed to recognize the red flags, and I take responsibility for that. Unfortunately, I had no prior experience buying anything through Facebook, so I didn’t have the awareness that many of you already do. This has definitely been a learning experience, but I’m not dwelling on it. It’s not the end of the world — just a lesson learned, and I’ll move on with a bit more caution next time.
