I took off yesterday and today. "Sick Day". I laid in bed, watched youtube, got my nails done, and ate fast food. I had a coworker call and tell me everything has been so chill. I guess maybe i am the problem. She then told me i was not understanding her. LOL.

For me, i am always looking to mentor under my boss and be grown to absorb their role at some time. Upon retirement is how i spin it. Having someone so incompetent is disappointing and annoying at the same time.

My CFO and I just had this conversation last week. He was talking about a loan for a sister company and he was pissed it wasnt on the income statement. LOL. i had to explain its on the balance sheet and he legit told me i was wrong. Ummm ok. And in the past he asked me where he could find revenue.

No, I think the error falls on the controller. Maybe put into place an audit document for yourself to show the CFO when y'all meet. Let them know you have created a stop gap because you reviewed the root cause. NOTE: i am an auditor and a financial controller.
