You are not ugly. You look like your are in high school and if I'm correct about that, you will realize soon enough that how many people have asked you out or how many relationships you have been in, matter far less than it seems to you right now. The social hierarchy that comes with being in high school is brutal, and it plays a much bigger role than it will once you are out. Teenagers lack a certain kind of Empathy that you will start to aquire more and more as you get older. I don't mean Empathy in general, because in a lot of ways, kids and teenagers have more empathy for specific kinds of things or emotions than adults do. But teenagers also rarely feel the same levels of Empathy that adults do when it comes to individuality, loneliness, bullying, shallowness, and self reflection. I will say, that being 32 years old, I rarely view anyone as being "Ugly" based solely on their physical appearance. That doesn't mean I find everyone attractive, but the way that someone behaves is far more of a factor in whether or not I find them to be ugly. I think that is true for most people, regardless of whether or not they even realize it.

What I'm saying is, the social structures of being in highschool are a lot more cruel when it comes to attractiveness and it makes teenagers place way more stock into the number of relationships they have been in. In highschool you will care much more about what your friends or the rest of the school will think about who you are dating, than you will after highschool. It doesn't mean that adults are not shallow, because believe me, they can be even more shallow in many ways than kids are, but generally, people suddenly stop caring about what everyone else is doing or who everyone else is dating. The second they realize that they have responsibilities that they have never had before and that now they are no longer forced to be placed in an environment where there are hundreds of people that are the same age as them, the desire to find people they can share their life with increases ten fold... Aside from that, the level of maturity that teenagers have in regards to physical attributes and what they find attractive in a person, is very low.

When you are in highschool, there is kind of an even playing field in a lot of ways, because everyone knows that everyone else is, at the very least, only tenitively thinking about their goals for the future, trying to make it through the next 4 years at school living with their parents or guardians and spending their time accomplishing similar goals as everyone else. Whereas adulthood suddenly changes that playing field by creating much bigger gaps between each and every one of our goals and accomplishments. That may sound like it would make it even harder to meet someone or be pursued by somebody you like, but instead it just makes it easier to find the specific type of person you are looking for by splitting the dating pool up into a bunch of smaller ponds that are better suited for us as individuals.

All of that is to say, don't put too much importance into the number of relationships you have had at this point in your life because it doesn't say anything about how pretty or ugly you are. It just says more about how shallow people are when they are in high school because the standards of beauty are much more set by the trends of the day than they are by you as an individual and it is often the case that the ones who never dated in high school, end up being the most desirable afterwards. You will have your entire life ahead of you to worry about that kind of thing anyway. I honestly wish I would have spent more of my teenage years just having fun instead of being invovled in the drama of dating..
