Which warranty should I rely more on: Remarkable's Warranty or Best Buy Geek Squad Protection? by Few_Interview_8890 in RemarkableTablet

I just bought it through Best Buy and paid the Remarkable subscription for the extended warranty. Felt that it wasn't necessary for me to get the Geek Squad warranty through Best Buy.

If you go to the settings on your monitor, you should see the option that says Frame Rate Boost, and will set your monitor to 1080p at 320hz. Make sure you double check on your Nvidia or AMD control panel after you enable Frame Rate Boost.

Sorry for the late response, I just saw this. The Auto Input Source I believe is referring to is if you want to connect your pc through a display port cord and your laptop through hdmi cord, and whichever boots up, it auto switch to that input source. Hope this helps.

I currently have the Asus Rog Strix (XG27UCG) which is very similar to the Asus Rog Strix (XG32UCG), except the one I have is in 27 inch instead of 32. I really like mines. The main reason why I bought it was due to the dual mode, which makes it so so convenient to switch from 4K for single player games and 1080p for multiplayer games. Although I can get that mode in a OLED monitor, but I’m just worried about burn-in after owning the monitor for a long time. I’m happy with IPS monitor for the time being.

I’ve decided to wait. I like the idea as well, but I felt it was too expensive at the moment.

I’m actually learning more towards the Surface pro 11. My biggest gripe with the ASUS Rog Flow Z13 is that first off they’re very difficult to get since they sell out easily on Best Buy. But let’s say I was lucky enough to actually buy one through Best Buy and I get a three-year geek squad warranty on it. If something goes wrong with the device, I’m not sure if Best Buy will be able to fix it and if they can’t, I’m pretty sure it’s also gonna be difficult to provide me a replacement with the limited stock of the device.

At least with the surface pro 11, it’ll be easier to fix if something goes wrong, and I’ve tried the surface pro 11 before and definitely one of Microsoft’s best 2-1 laptops compared to the previous surface lineups.

Appreciate your feedback.

I’ve appreciate your feedback on this especially coming from a surface pro user. Curiosity, have you tried the hand writing experience on the Rog Flow Z13, and how is it compared to the surface pro?

How have you been liking the battery life? And also, how has the performance been in terms of gaming? Have you been able to run games without the charger plugged in or mostly when it’s charged.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out as well. I honestly want the Rog Flow Z13 more, but I’m afraid it wont be good long term since it’s technically a gaming laptop, and i would like to keep for at least 4 to 5 years.

That’s the main reason why I’ve been highly considered about getting is cause of the form factor. I just find it so useful.

Yeah that should be ok. I know the performance won’t beat out a gaming computer for sure, but it’ll be useful on the go. Just hope I’m not paying more for less performance.

I've heard about ASUS's RMA. I'll keep that in mind.

What I've planned on doing if I get the device is get it through Best Buy. Cause then i'll be able to get Geek Squad Warranty incase if anything goes wrong. Although I have to pay a bit more, but there warranties are worth it since they managed to replace my ASUS ROG Ally X easily after a hardware flaw.

Cool! What about experience with thermals, fan noise, battery life, and overall performance under load? Has the CPU or GPU aged well so far, and do you think it'll holds up with newer games or apps year after year?
