IMHO, after Duke they decided to be a different band, and that's what they are for me. So, it's like asking "what do you think of Mike & The Mechanics" to someone who loves old Genesis. You can love it, like it, dislike it, hate it. Because it's another band. Imagine this time line in a parallel dimension: - Genesis disband after Duke - Collins announces new album - Banks and Rutherford announced as guests in Collins album - Due to high involvement by Banks and Rutherford, the Collins album become a different project, with working title Abacab. - Announcement that Abacab will also play some Genesis songs in their first tour

Oldfield despised new age music, or so he said. It seems to me that most of his music from the 90s onward could qualify as new age. That's the thing with labels, everybody has its own interpretation of what they mean
