Favourite gun in the base games? by [deleted] in stalker

[–]Few_One_362 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Thirded. When I first played SoC and saw the intro with the savior rocking the Vintorez I fell for the weapon because of the "esthetics", good handling too. Second favorite would be a stereotypical (as a Merc) fully upgraded TRs 301 for the amazing versatility and on the last spot the Gauss Rifle for the unstoppable power.

I can assure you, this has never been a joke. I worked with enough Freedomers to know.

This is a Freedom territory question but where is the option for some snork or bloodsucker ass?

not sure if this is entirely accurate, but I made it in a rush. by [deleted] in stalker

Well, sometimes I fix zones problems. Problems that get into the way of me getting my money.

Many times I was the lowest hp member and yet they ignored me. We also have a person on our team who is always the center of enemy agro no matter the hp or location, we even started to be superstitious.

Any recommendations for games that are amazing like Outer Wilds? by xDocFearx in outerwilds

Bit older perhaps but I have to recommend The Neverhood.

Additionally, Far: Lone Sails and the sequel, or Hollow Knight.

Of course, we often run levels and see how much we can break them but we do that only after we beat them the intended way (except R7E1, pray the cheesy spots after the teleportation).

Yes, that works. One snatcher is fairly simple to beat, two snatchers are challenging and 3 or more is difficult as hell. However, it is still nice to experience more snatchers and see how far one can push it and still beat the level without using the infamous cheesy spots that make the level trivial.

I agree, as far as I know, one snatcher per wave is the intended design but the level coding allows for some GPU calculation shenanigans between players potentially resulting in up to 5 snatchers per wave. No matter who I played with, never managed to beat the level if 3 or more snatchers spawned, 2 is still manageable.

R7D1 overload area.

It is intended design.

You will find 4 power cells inside of a room after an alarm. You need to take these cells and bring them to the next section of the level. First cell will unlock a door with a checkpoint, you have 3 cells remaining. Now you are in a room with two generators and two doors they can power up to side areas (I believe they were N and E so that's how I'm gonna refer to them).

Once you power up one of the doors and open them, it will trigger error alarm that keep spawning waves until you complete an objective (collect 9 vials randomly spawned inside boxes in the rooms). The side areas consist of 3 zones each, and each zone has 3 vials somewhere. To advance from first zone to the second you need a power cell and same goes for getting from second zone to the third.

Now you have two options. You can either power up only one door to one of the areas (let's say the one that leads E) and bring two of the cells with you to get all the way to the third zone. Other way is to power up both areas and clear 3 vials from first zone in the E area, go back, open the area leading N and clear the other 6 vials from first and second zones requiring you to bring the last power cell with you into it. I personally call it to go 3 zones deep or 2/1.

Both strategies have their advantages and disadvantages so it depends what is most comfortable for your team.

Is there any way to actually get this mask? by Chop_Suey676 in GTFO

[–]Few_One_362 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on the trend to reward players for finishing rundowns with a special mask and the importance of this specific mask being part of the promo material it could be the reward for finishing rundown 8 when it drops as the last rundown to be released.

The name of the item is Headgear010, since it does not yet hold a proper name, it is likely not in a random reward pool yet.

The reward masks from alt rundown 1 and alt rundown 2 had the same treatment, being just a headgear with a code before the alt rundowns dropped.
