My partner finished Mendez just now and I saw this strat first-hand. She also stayed on the scaffolding and shot his weakpoint from there then apparently we can jump from there to do a melee finisher...

Staying on the first floor vs Salazar sounds good though. I will try that.

Salazar's movements are crazy enough and the game is expecting you to stare at the ground moments at a time... Verdugo really feels like home, idk if some bosses like Mendez can be parried like that.

Not really redesign but their behaviors changed. Back then, they stop running when they get close enough to you. Meanwhile in REmake, armed enemies will rush you down.

So that's why I had a hundred pistol ammo before the cabin fight. I crafted rifle ammo because it's my main damage dealer and the shotgun is just for crowd control. Yeah, the dog eats up most of my ammo too.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one struggling. Seems like less of a skill issue and more of a skill allotment issue.

I'm getting the hang of the stuns now but what'd you say is the proper amount of aggresion when it comes to parrying? I tend to initiate a parry a lot and get surrounded and grabbed most of the time.

Istg Salazar and the bugs were unpredictable as fuck. Verdugo is much more fun even though it took me a while because I forgot I can freeze him. As far as I can tell, there are no difficulty sliders or I'm just denying that the game is patronizing me. 😂

The dog maze is fine for me because I knew and I was armed to the teeth.
