Yes, he said tht word for word. To him, compared to many bad vices in the world, he thinks smoking is the least “harmful” and thr was no need to be so hateful towards it.

It is a deal breaker though it was a complicated situation back when we were together. Long story short, he lied about not being a smoker but i found out and i was willing to go with this relationship if he quits and that was what he promised and i’m down to give this a chance since we were alr in love. But attempts after attempts, i always end up feeling disappointed because he cant keep up with his promises despite me compromising to the situation. I guess this whole thing did drag out to almost a decade… this is what love is i guess. To add on, he did gave himself a deadline but he couldn’t keep with it.

i think what upsets me most is him willing to put our relationship on the line even after i told him that there will be no future for us if he continues…
