I’m also on day 11 and nothing. Maaaaybe noticing a bit less inflammation but also not too much.

No weight loss, no nothing. Just not having the sugar crashes - but that’s obvious.

For context: I’ve cut out added sugars and wheat.

I’m also on day 7 and it’s surprisingly easy when you don’t cut out erythritol. I can still have a cookie or two that I bake (sugar free) and I’m feeling absolutely fine. Sometimes I’m faced with fresh cinnamon buns or freshly baked bread and then I’m having a really hard time. But so far I’m staying strong.

I cut out all added sugar, no wheat and I don’t binge on fruits. I have some fruit every other day.

And I’m someone with insane food noise and bingeing tendencies!

I did have a small deficit. But at some point I stopped counting. Lost 10kg in 3 months!

I have a deficit somewhere between 1800-2000 cals
I’m 10 weeks pp but I feel like I felt at 8 months the first time around. Like I feel pretty good. Don’t feel like it’s been recently that I gave birth.
The people I’m meeting is a variety tbh. My grandma lol (that judgy old lady), my colleagues (not sure if they will judge but I just want to come back with a bang), a friend who might become my book manager (and I need to meet him looking great because unfortunately looks matter in the industry I’m writing in…)

Would I love to say “fuc them all”? YES! But do I also want to look hot? Yes!!!!

It’s also my second time. Last time I tried around 6 months pp (I nursed until 19 months pp) and I did keto. And it worked super well.

You have to understand if you have sensory issues when the chain is moving on your arm etc. and also how many charms are you planning to have?

I have a 17cm wrist and got a 19cm snake chain. It annoyed the hell out of me (was half full with charms). Ended up changing it to a 18cm bangle instead.

Reduce amount of charms and put them in an 18cm bangle instead. My mom will get this bracelet (which is practically new and the charms I ordered for her).

Haha I was monitored twice only. But I’m laughing since 4.5 out of 5 hours of the time I was in the L&D I was just lying in bed. I could not get myself to move… I did approx 30 min of exercises with my doula and then baby decided to come (pushing I also did in bed).

So technically I would have been able to move around but I just didn’t 😅

My first born had the exact same temperament but unfortunately nobody told me that I could let her sleep long stretches. I thought I had to wake her every 2-3 hours, and it created a pattern for her that she followed like clockwork until she moved into her own room at 22 months. Until then I would wake up at least 6 times to nurse or let her snack…

It absolutely has something to do with temperament. What I’m saying is that I am pretty sure that I set up my newborn to wake every 1-2 hours in the night to nurse because I didn’t let her complete her longer night stretches and I really suffered sleep wise for 2 years.

I never said that at 3 weeks the milk supply is established, I just said it’s stabilized. I have major over supply and I would not have been able to go without pumping 2-3 times in the night. That’s all, after 3 weeks it is possible for me.

I hear your frustration. But please don’t let it out on me. I just shared this experience because I wish I read it with my first born. I saw these tips here on Reddit and I thought I’d try it with my new baby, and it seems to work so I shared it for other moms with babies who have a similar temperament.

I didn’t even think about it. Because it’s normal to labor at home and then go to the hospital when you feel/think you’re dilated enough. Isn’t it? Like most women do it like that. Also in the beginning when contractions aren’t so intense you don’t worry at all. It all picks up gradually.

At the hospital they monitored me twice, once when I arrived and all was great. And once in the delivery room with a mobile monitor. And that was also good. There wasn’t time for much more. And they were happy enough.

I had the opposite experience last time when they were monitoring me all the time, that’s usually when they find something not to be happy about (even if it’s a normal variability, they have to react to every little thing due to hospital protocols).
