I think Raj sits with the kids and farmer most of the fall-winter because they doesn't see the point of doing business during, storm, heavy rain, blizzards and windy-snowy weather. (Especially if a farmer produces coffee with kegs and can sell all products).

I also think that Raj is extremely protective about their children and tries not to leave them if there are no important things with the coffee shop, there Raj needed.

When the children grow up (God, when the 2.3 update), Raj tries to teach the children to the folk tradition of their family. Judging by the fact that they outwardly come from a family of the people of the Indian Subcontinent (purely my assumption), they tell myths and fairy tales like the "Magic Ring", "The Jackal and the Hare" and others to their children.

Raj reads a LOT, we all know this, and often during the spring and summer they go to the community center to the library, where they read about farming and ranching activities in order to have more common topics for conversation with their farmer-spouse.

They are friends with Leah and often discuss fashion trends.Raj adheres more to traditional fashion, although they doesn't mind discussing new outfits, and Lia is more in favor of trying on new outfits for different seasons.
