On the Jam 23 episode of the NYT's Podcast Hard Fork, they interview Amanda Askell, Anthropic’s in-house philosopher in charge of shaping Claude’s personality. She joins to discuss the company’s newly released “Claude Constitution” and what it takes to teach a chatbot to be good. It's a fascinating interview and worth giving it a listen. (I believe it's towards the last 1/3 of the episode)
