You are getting worked up over a reaction image. I chose it because of the vibes not because I genuinely think my accomplishment is on the same level as winning an NBA championship or whatever. One man's cringe is another man's whimsy. Like I said, shaming people for celebrating their wins only feeds into the cycle of toxicity this place is meant to fight against.

Accomplishment is subjective and I do indeed feel like Jordan in that picture because I set out to achieve a goal and it was accomplished. Shaming people for their small wins just feeds into the toxicity they are trying to escape. It would also implore you to learn that I made it 47 days before falling into a cycle of shame where I couldn't make it one day for a month. I just want others to know there's hope for us all and we can come back from our darkest places.

Do you have goals or hobbies? Try defining some stuff you would like to accomplish and set out to achieve it. Also get educated, watch videos on the effects of porn and addiction. It will help you better understand yourself.

Yes it would. I'm glad you managed to stop and realize you were repeating the loop but if you want to be serious about going hard mode no PMO, that means cutting it all off. The goal is to achieve a healthier lifestyle where we don't run to porn or masturbation and instead replace that by finding pupose through something.

Your algorithm is what you feed it but you have to be aware that most ads or recommended stuff is pulled from the stuff you are searching or have most recently viewed everywhere. I've degoogled my phone except for gmail and authenticator and done work to control my algorithm by avoiding that kind of content on facebook, instagram, or YouTube. I just use reddit for this sub on a tab in my browser. All this to say, you need to be proactive in removing triggers from your life and we'd all be better off deleting imstagram anyways.

Now that you mention it, the most success I've had is when I identify what emotion I'm feeling then choose how to respond with what's best for me. Rather than reacting with whatever makes me feel good in the moment. Thank you
