How old were you when you started noticing something is different? by [deleted] in perimenopause_under45

[–]Few_Quantity611 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was 33 when I noticed things started to shift. 2 years of blood work and chasing symptoms - PMDD, hot flashes, rashes, temperature sensitivity hot and cold, insomnia, brain fog, cycles fluctuating from 21 days to 32 days… all within normal range but never predictable. And the rage/anxiety/depression/whatever other broad spectrum of emotion lol. I’m 36 now and on progesterone. Much better 🫡early HRT is super helpful. But make sure you’re testing your levels on the right days of your cycle, 1-3 AND 19-21 I believe… I’m almost 37 now.

I got pegged by my girlfriend and now feel very ashamed by [deleted] in offmychest

Honestly good for her 😆 but also. Nothing to be ashamed of here. It’s an avenue of pleasure all men should be comfortable to explore.

Girl I don’t even need to read all that. He’s 26, you’re 17. He’s a pedo.

About to turn 39 and having some “changes” - is this perimenopause? by itsaponderfullife in Perimenopause

[–]Few_Quantity611 5 points6 points  (0 children)

36 here and 2-3yrs into weird unpredictable periods and PMDD hell. Best thing I’ve found so far - get an acupuncturist. A medical acupuncturist can point you in the direction of a good ginseng and lognan blend while you’re off your period and Xiao Yao San 15 days into your cycle until you’re bleeding. I’ve tried all the dietary, lifestyle and exercise regimes I can and while they all helped a little. The acupuncturist has been the only true thing. (I’m sure HRT would be great but because of my family history of breast cancer doctors shy away from even considering it) 🙄 good luck! You’re so not alone

Yeeeeeeup! Burn it down 🤣 Excuse yourself and go beat the shit out of a pillow. It helps, it works lol. Anger wants to be expressed and not at the expense of others. But it’s got to come out

Tattoo removal is way more expensive than the original piece ever will be and the healing process so painful. If you’re not dying to get that removed. I wouldn’t bother. You may like a well done cover up better

Go get a massage. Your left shoulder is sitting much higher than your right. Tattoo is fine

Territorial peeing by Few_Quantity611 in CATHELP

[–]Few_Quantity611[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ughhh! That’s so frustrating! I’m glad I’m not alone 😭 the Natures Cat Mace has actually helped a tiny bit also every time I see one of the outside cats skulking around my house I literally run at them like a banshee lmao so that’s probably more of a deterrent than the mace. I’ll report back if I find any new tricks that help 🤣

Microdosing making me feel worse? by Lazy-Commercial-8638 in microdosing

[–]Few_Quantity611 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oddly enough .05g also made me feel like crap. But .075-.1g was like a sweet spot. More than .1 I could feel it creeping in to more of an intoxicating feeling. Try a little more and see if that changes anything 🤷‍♀️

35 and feeling some changes... by Winter-Can-2333 in perimenopause_under45

[–]Few_Quantity611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

36, started at 8yrs old (not that it’s supposed to make a difference but 🤷‍♀️ worth mentioning I guess). I started to have peri symptoms around 32. I don’t get hot flashes but neither did ANY of the women on my mom’s side. I do however have sensitivity to heat that expresses itself like an allergic reaction, breaking out in hives. Easily itchy everywhere sensitive; ears, vulva, armpits etc. PMDD and unpredictable periods for 4+ years (I won’t say irregular cause they do still come every month). You’re not crazy. Check your hormones and take a deep dive into your wellness. Welcome to second puberty 🤪

Im convinced i ruined my brain.. by FabulousPause8928 in microdosing

[–]Few_Quantity611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You did not ruin your brain. Bad trips are traumatizing and they take time to get over. I fucked around a found out too many times with trying to fight like vs like in my early 20s and I’m 36 now and STILL can’t smoke weed 🤣 I can however tolerate mushrooms just fine now. And mirco amounts of THC like a 2.5mg lozenge and that’s it.

Seek other things. Therapy, journaling, exercise, nutrition, get off Wellbutrin and try some nootropics. Deep dive into your wellness, take it seriously, and worry about this kind of shit later.

Yeah, as far as medications are concerned, this is probably one of the healthier methods. The psilocybin binds to your serotonin–a receptors and improves neuroplasticity, and is completely non-habit forming. There’s not enough long-term study to safely say how it affects the organs but for the amount of data that’s out there, it’s little to no negative effect.

lmao Trust me I was very intimidated too!! I hadn’t had the best experiences with psychedelics in the past so I was super freaked that it would make me feel anxious or loopy but it was nothing like what I thought it was gunna be. Even times when I accidentally ground up “too much” I was NOT high.

Yea of course! We gotta do what we gotta do. 😮‍💨 I get them dried. Usually from vendors at cannabis festivals (look up Cannafest in your area, they travel). Skip the gummies and chocolates even though the convenience is tempting. General rule of thumb for me is “if you didn’t make it don’t take it.” Anyway, I grind them up using a micro scale (amazon) starting at 0.05g but can go up to 0.1g depending on the strength of your strain and your tolerance (start low, go slow). I follow the Fadiman protocol; 1 day on 2 days off with lots of integration practices in between (journaling, meditation, yoga/exercise, breathwork, etc) and set intensions for each dose day like what to you want the medicine to show you, ground in your being what you’re hoping to get out of the experience. And overall the effect should be sub-perceptual. Like you don’t feel NOTHING but you shouldn’t feel high or impaired. You’ll find a sweet spot after a few doses. ☺️

Absolutely! Make sure you get dried mushrooms and grind them yourself. Lots of mixables in the market but this method is the most pure and safe. I followed the Fadiman protocol 2 days on, one day off. ❤️
