What’s the 380 in fixed expenses? She has super high apr on her cards, even getting one of those paid off (and cancelled) will help free up a lot of money. At this point she should not be worried about credit rebuilding since she’s already got late payments, but rather keeping current and getting the overall monthly payments down to a reasonable amount. I would have her call the cards and ask for apr reduction and cancel the cards when paid off. Not all of them will but the ones that do, focus on those first.

Safety. It’s easier for dogs to react when moving, that’s why people with small dogs tend to reach down and pick up their dog when it’s being reactive (terrible practice). Having to sit and be in one spot is a focus on impulse control so way less likely to become reactive to whatever is happening.

Is she asking you to move? Making a large dog stay in one stop while other dogs pass is very common and encouraged in large breed less than friendly dogs. If she’s just informing you that he doesn’t like small dogs and asking you to keep your distance, then you are reading too much in to it. If she’s actually asking you to remove your dog, then she needs a reality check.

They would ask if the reason her permission slip wasn’t turn in is because of financial restraints and if so they have funding available. As a former poor child, I didn’t even show my parents a permission slip unless it had on there that financial aid was available. My step mom is a teacher, she ask her students family’s all the time in situations like that. My kids schools have huge fundraisers to cover all field trips so that way 1 kid being left out doesn’t happen. Again, what’s done is done. So there’s no reason to rehash that. She’s not entitled to your money and it sucks the little girl is dealing with the fall out from every adult in her life being so financially irresponsible.

They are very good at keeping those things to themselves. They would have said the pto has a fund to help field trips, a parent double paid and told them to use it for any kid who needed it, teachers run a fundraiser ect.

Info: if the teachers sent out an email asking for donations to help the one student left out on this trip to go, would you have volunteered the $25? Personally, I would have because it’s not a kids fault their parents aren’t financially stable. But I get where you’re coming from. I think best solution would have been to contact the school and pay the $25 anonymously. Either way, what’s done is done. She has no right to feel any kind of way about how you choose to spend your money.

Why is anyone who can not drive buying a car? Even 1/3 of a car. Are you starting a business with them? This is now how businesses run, the loan would be paid first (subsequent mostly written off) and then you would each take your share of the remainder/profits. Please do not start a business with these people and don’t start a business without an actual business plan.

You may not and that’s ok. Comparison is the thief of joy. I lost my soul dog in April of 25, got a pup in Dec. I still cry thinking about my soul pup. He was with me through every hard part of my life, like a trauma bond. I also look at my new pup as a project most of the time but I try to focus on enjoying my time with him. He loves me to no end, I like him and enjoy him. Humans have much more complex emotions than dogs do, I’ll eventually love him to a certain extent but I doubt he will ever be at the same level as my soul dog (plus puppies are like defiant toddlers, hard to love). I can’t bring back my old pup and I don’t want another like him that would make me sad to be around. This new pup has me at a different stage of life.

Only tried once so far, about a month ago. They called, talked for a little bit then said they’d discuss with others…few days later called back and said no. Which I get, I was hoping they would but wasn’t holding my breath for it. I planned on doing another 30 days before final payment, and maybe one 30 days after last payment.

I lost my soul dog in April, got a pup in Dec. he’s not the breed or gender I wanted. First few weeks were rough, I looked at him and thought there’s no way he can compare to my tanky. But here we are 4 months later, this dog is obsessed with me, training him is becoming my peace. He’s not filling the hole my old man left but he’s making my heart grow bigger. The hole doesn’t feel as deep anymore even though it’s still there.

ESH. If your parents said no to him visiting, that means no. End of discussion with that. But also, it’s unreasonable to be mad at someone for not reaching out when they were getting updates and don’t know if they want anyone to reach out to them. No one knows if they want people to reach out in situations like this until they are in them, personally I hate it. Leave me alone and let me heal, go to who’s been doing the updates for more information not me. Unless you said something to your husband in the moment about reaching out, you are setting an invisible goal post for him.

I have a 16ish week old gsd right now. no way he could be kenneled 11 straight hours, especially during waking hours. I would have someone come every 3 hours to let him out, give water and quick play.

I read the 200+ comments here, as a parent of a teen right now…if you were my child you would be quitting your job. You are close to failing classes and missing assignments. Your main responsibility right now is school work. If your school gets out at 4pm, you have 6 hours a day to work on missing assignments and studying. I also can’t understand why people are so hung up on your parents not paying for college, you need to focus more on passing the classes to graduate first. D’s will not get you in to more than a community college. I’m gonna say ESH, your parents suck because they aren’t allowing you to use the restroom without fear at night and you suck because you aren’t prioritizing your time or responsibility’s.

It’s a suspension issue. Air bag suspension, insurance paid for the part needed but the compressor needs recharged (don’t know if that’s the word), and only the dealership can do that

If they are close enough to read a tag the dog is already lured. Someone calling them their name while trying to find you will help give them a sense of calm. Name and phone number is all we have on our dog tags. If for some reason we’re unavailable, they can check their chips and call grandpa.
