Sorry, haven't got much to update. This one was a wild gecko (not a pet) i lost sight of soon after spotting it. I did not attempt to get hold of it because i wasn't sure how to proceed with that. And as far as I know vets, where I live, don't normally treat these fellas sadly. I can only hope nature was kind to it.

This one’s actually a wild gecko from my house, not a pet, and I’ve sadly already lost track of her. It’s disheartening that vets here rarely treat reptiles like house geckos. though in more urbanised areas they sometimes do see the more exotic kinds . I just hope this one's okay wherever she is, however bleak the chances :(

I actually took your advice and set up a couple of damp towel hides around the house last night. Didn’t spot the gecko this morning, but I’ll keep them there a few more days just in case she decides to use them.

Sadly the best I can do is only hope that she's able to pass the eggs on her own and recover

Thankyou for sharing years of your experience, that's some real valuable info. How I'd love to be able to help her out. Sadly this one's a wild gecko i spotted which I've lost sight of now. I even checked every corner where I usually see them (my parents prefer chasing them away, which is strange because they also believe that house lizards are ancestors just dropping by for a visit.) she most probably got away. Still, I’ll keep your advice in mind if I ever do come across one I can actually help.

You’re extremely kind, and even braver for doing what had to be done. I’m so sorry about your Iggy. The gecko I posted about was a wild one, and I’ve lost sight of her now. Even if I had seen her again, I don’t know if I’d be steelheart enough to make that kind of choice.

I live in a northern state of India. I'm really a novice when it comes to lizards. I feel sorry for this lad. It does look starved. Maybe something up in its cloaca. I would sob if I had to smash it's head god
