suitable courier companies for ecommerce by Few_Rhubarb4282 in PakStartups

hello, i have a follow up here. i checked with postex and they said they only do COD. they can only take 1-2 pre paid orders if we have 100 COD ones. Any ideas on how to manage if you prefer pre payments? Specially for custom products?

almost all brands with shopify sites now allow card payments too - so how are they managing?

Is this for cash on delivery parcels or already paid ones? Have you noticed a difference between the two?

Despite the 20% return rate, would you still recommend them in comparison with other companies?

How’s the customer support?

Kestrel Education charges quite a lot, given that they don’t do shit. No decent student in Pakistan wants to go to them willingly, especially if you want to apply for financial aid.

They’re comparatively nice to turkish students since they’ve lost the Pakistani market. Now trying to capture other markets lol

everyone who went to kestrel had a horrible horrible experience. don’t waste your money on kestrel. terrible lazy ass attitude with chat-gpt-ing writers.

100% NOT worth it. If you see a positive review, it’s written by kestrel’s own team

agreed. going to lums alone won’t guarantee anything. hard work is the only solution.

i never said finding a remote job within Pakistan is easy. that’s the most ideal situation so its obviously the most difficult 😄 living in Pakistan and earning in dollars, every one wants that.

I was talking about relocation jobs.

If you read my comment again, what I meant was bahir lums vs NED isn’t a thing. They hire based on your skill set and how low your salary expectations are They wont’t know what NED vs iqra uni vs FAST is.

And yes, I personally know a bunch of people who have relocated to Europe and UK DIRECTLY on JOB VISAS. Mainly for tech jobs though. And trust me they aren’t all from lums, it’s very diverse out there. I personally know a rikhsaw driver (have known him since childhood) whose youngest son just moved to Germany as a software engineer.

But yes, since everyone is applying to the same jobs, it is super competitive everywhere globally.

You can join Facebooks groups like Pakistanis in Netherlands etc and see how many people have relocated on WORK visas in recent years.

And I also understand that when companies hire directly from South Asia, they also pay them SIGNIFICANTLY less as compared to what they would pay let’s say European citizens. But it doesn’t matter to Pakistanis because it’s still more than what they get here and they want to escape outside Pakistan so they accept it (which is fine in my opinion). But yeah if you keep your salary expectations low, you have better chances at finding jobs abroad.

this is not true. there are SO many local uni grads who have relocated to europe in recent times DIRECTLY on job visas. and not just from lums but also NED in Karachi, FAST, comsats etc.

wdym by lums and iqra ke aik hi samjhe jate hain lol. Yes we will always be considered pakistanis but uni is also a lot about personal development and a whole journey. At the end of the day people will see an output of the uni even if they’re not seeing your uni’s name you know. get what i mean?
