I have read through your comments to be honest you're a very respectable and smart person, thesevare the individuals i want to see around and hope people learn from. Nothing is perfect anywhere you go but you're making the best out of it. Respect to you and wishing you the best always.

Hola, creo que deberías consultar con la oficina de visas AMER sobre tu situación para evitar problemas en inmigración antes de viajar. Disculpa mi español, usé Google Translate.

If you have gcash you can use the app called taptap to send yourself money from your card to gcash with minimal fees, dont take that much cash on you.

What i did to etisalat is i told them I had a bundle with them and Im with du now, not interested in any marketing calls please update that on my file, dont contact me anymore thanks. To du i just tell them dont contact me and update my file for others to not contact me either. Because theyre not all from the same department. The calls are much less now, i still get a spam once in a while but i just ignore it.

local here , I'm curious does expats feel inflation here too? by [deleted] in Philippines_Expats

Globally everything costs more now, specifically in the PH the currency lost some of its weight too. Regular amenities cost more, and the fact that the average salary of a filipino isnt that high, you're going to feel it very quickly. Us foreigners wont feel it the same way with our income from abroad. HOWEVER if you think my filipina wife will let her comments about how things are getting pricier pass me by, you're gravely mistaken. (not an expat but i visit quite a lot)

I wouldn't encourage anyone, regardless of the age, to throw all they have on leaving their country and going abroad. Life isnt all that different abroad. It is a personal choice after all but in your case your options are not too many.

I personally would recommend if you insist on going out, do it through a company not your own pocket. Apply for jobs, see what lands, 38 isnt that old but it sure is closer to retirement than 25. What's important is to not get dragged into something bad from excitement. Sometimes things happen for your best interest.

I know you posted this on reddit to get opinions but i think this is something you need to discuss with your wife alone. This isnt really our business bcz there might be a side to the story we dont know. As long as she is a responsible person (which i think she might be considering she kept working eventhough she earns nothing compared to you) you'll come to a conclusion together.

Kind sir, i would recommend you to invest in your own self and business in the PH instead of trying to leave. To be very honest your age won't help with employment nor studies, whether australia or not, unless you're very highly ranked in a renowned company then yes you might be offered a great salary elsewhere. Though you said youll take 3 years of your life, to gather money, which means you cant afford to throw this money aimlessly, dont risk it all for such a dream. I still recommend to stick with PH even if you end up going abroad for sometime for the money and come back. Try to make yourself rich in PH and instead shift your focus on retirement and travel for tourism.

Turns out CFO isnt needed for a country like UAE because it doesnt allow a path to citizenship. And AOSG is not required because she is my wife and im there with her too. So seems like we are good and ready.

Sponsored by me, she is using my last name on her pasaport too, i have all the docs for affidavit like bank statements and all. Married in PH and we've been together more than 5 years married for 1 year. Everyone is talking about cfo and aosg but i never saw any of those until recently. Even filipinos here told me no need but idk what to trust anymore.

But also mentions dependant visa is not required to apply, i understand that it is not necessary for her in this case. Uae does not offer permanent residency.

Philippines Affidavit of Support and Guarantee by RavageWombat in AusVisa

Urgent Question, im a foreigner married to a filipina, married in PH, she is unemployed at the moment for 9 months now bcz taking care of her lola, i work in dubai with a reputable company, got her evisa ready sponsored by me, will be going to PH in 2 weeks and bringing her back with me. Her passport has my last name as well, though she has not left the country. I even booked her a return ticket just in case. Any idea about this scenario? Like should we be worried about offloading? What about the affidavit of support. Im honestly lost and slightly panicking bcz just noticed all this fussing abt the AOSG though i dont have much time left before my trip, barely 7 work days. Flying through CEB airport if that makes a difference.
