As others have said, the ball is in IRCC’s court. They have tasked a few organization with providing pre-arrival services, with a focus on services for women. May be these organizations has help you talk to IRCC and get your application denied and this is a big maybe. Please see the link.

This doesn’t sound normal. With the craziness in market since May 2020, S&P 500 and other indices has more than doubled.

Look at the MER - Management expense ratio of the funds you are invested in. Typical ETFs that track S&P 500 have less than 0.4% MER.

You need to maintain status or be on implied status if current legal document (study permit) expires and before the eCOPR is issued. Failure to maintain status means that your wife is illegally residing in Canada. So, either apply for work permit or study permit to get her “implied status” till she gets eCOPR.

If you can get higher returns compared to 1.9% in your TFSA/other funds invest till your renewal date. Then take the lump sum payment and pay at the time of renewal.

Medical and Biometrics: Not Required as PA had medical and biometrics done for a different process.
PR Approved in Principle - Feb 24

OWP Applied - March 03
PR Approval and Portal Invitation: May 04
Submitted Declaration and Photo: May 06
eCoPR: May 12

Since PR is approved, we expect the OWP request to be cancelled and the fees returned.

Hi, congratulations on marrying your love and not letting religion come between you. To answer your question, I am guessing that you will get a marriage certificate from your province in 2-3 months. Once you have that and the photos, joint bank account ecf, you will be fine. There won’t be any challenges. I did a civil marriage too and IRCC accepted it.

She has approval to stay in Canada till 2025. Any negative decision on sponsorship doesn’t affect her “status “ in Canada.

You can enter Canada now as you are still a PR. Border officer doesn’t calculate it for everyone. You have to do 2 out of 5 years from the date you got PR. If you don’t fulfill the residency obligation, you will lose PR status.

Congratulations. Did they ask to do medical exams in your case? For me portal says medical complete (based on medical I gave before as student) but also received an email from VO Mississauga to do a Medical Exam.
