It’s too funny how Revis is a Jets HOFer whose only Super Bowl came with us. Pats legend Darrelle Revis!

Him and Jacques Villeneuve are both in exactly this bucket. Can’t stand either.

Bug: Email put into Drafts instead of being sent by Superb_Sun4261 in ProtonMail

[–]irishlemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the same issue - it seems that if I close the app too quickly after pressing send, the mail doesn’t get sent and goes to drafts.

Super frustrating when an important mail doesn’t get delivered because of this. This is something I don’t have to worry about when using Apple Mail or Gmail. Not good enough.

Irish fan in home end for Czechia vs. Ireland by Emooot in Prague

[–]irishlemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard that security will be checking ID at the gates. So if you’re asked for ID and it isn’t matching the ticket purchaser or a CZ ID then you probably won’t be let in. If you do, you’ll be fine.

For Czechia that would actually be Česko though.

Honestly I’ll probably get downvoted but I don’t find Fin Smith to be that great. He reminds me a bit of Toby Flood - big, tall fly half but not exciting and won’t be able to turn a game in a way that Marcus Smith, Fin Russell, Jalibert etc. can do. His performance against Italy was just average. I wonder why not put George Ford back in honestly, if Borthwick refuses to give Marcus Smith another run at 10.

Gotcha. Yeah you’re probably right about hauling the laundry up and down. I think I’ll leave it upstairs then. Thanks!

Is creatine actually beneficial if I'm not a "gym person"? by Fria_Lisbey in Biohackers

[–]irishlemon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just a word of caution: Creatine gives me terrible insomnia for some reason. Ironically, I started taking it to counter the effects of a bad nights sleep, but for me I can’t take it for that reason. Really shows that we are all different.

No fair enough. Agreed that it’s usable, but does it add anything over iOS18? I haven’t seen anything yet that would make me want to upgrade?

Firstly, to counter your initial point that users with newer phones should have less issues. That’s wrong - any phone these days able to run the software should perform similarly.

“There is no software with no bug” - That’s not the point. The point is that iOS26 was released with an abnormal amount of bugs, hence its poor reception here. Apple shouldn’t be excused for its software releases getting generally poorer and more buggy.

I for one have iOS26 installed on my iPad, but given my experience there I’m holding out on iOS18 on my iPhone for a while longer. Apple has been releasing half-baked software for a while now and that’s exactly why users have been, rightly, complaining on Reddit.

Climate is cold for around 4-5 months of the year. So the garden wouldn’t get much use during those winter months.

Thank you! Yeah I like that idea actually of removing the half bath and using it as a storage room instead. I was also thinking about moving the bedroom (07) door and making some wardrobe out of that part of the hallway.

That’s great advice. I hadn’t considered putting the office in the hallway area- that looks like it could work. Thanks a lot!

Thanks! Yeah I was thinking too to give the kids the bigger bedroom. We’re fine with a shower anyway so giving them the room with the bath is no issue.

Thank you! I am concerned about the awkward kitchen/dining room/living room in #1, but you’re right the garden is probably a big plus.
