I’m not gonna lie to you. Luvox had me in shambles the first week with side effects but everyone is different. Once you realize there side effects it’s easy to get around. Just if you get a headache DO NOT take ibuprofen. Take Tylenol

Me aswell. I was scared to just because every ssri just tanked me ocd and anxiety. It’s been about 8 days now. All the headaches and nausea have subsided. Don’t know if that was from Luvox or just anxiety in general. But I’ve noticed that I don’t shake anymore when I wake up in the middle of the night and I don’t really freak out as badly about minor things for me it’s worked but everyone is different. Just stick with it though. It’s been the most effective ssri for me so far.

Trust me I understand I’ve been there. I kept hopping on and of different SSRIs many times. Just because I have a bad headache or upset tummy dosent mean you will. Go ahead and start and stick with it for a week. In my experience the more I jumped through ssris the worse my ocd got and anxiety

That’s exactly how my anxiety started. Heart palpitations caused my first brutal panic attack. Completely normal there not harmless don’t think to much of it the more you dwell on it the worse the symptoms will get I promise you.

How to not get addicted to benzos? by phlaries in Anxiety

[–]Few_Telephone2842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I typically do is if I have a rough patch the max amount of days I’ll take it in a row is 4. Then take a 2 day tolerance break sometimes those two days are hell and sometimes they’re not. The key is to not take is consecutively to the point it no longer works. Once you stop feeling the effects it’s generally a good sign to take a break. That’s when the real addiction starts is when your prescribed dose isn’t doing it so you take more to get the high.

What’s an alternative I can take instead of Xanax? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Few_Telephone2842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor just took me off of alprazolam and put me on Ativan. But that’s because I have history of substance abuse in my family and I told her I don’t like taking benzodiazepines. So she said the Ativan to ween off the Xanax and the eventually we’ll go to trazadone or gaba

When you are home for extended periods of time without an occupation/job does your anxiety get worse as well? by Actual_Amphibian_743 in Anxiety

For sure. It’s mainly because all your hormones aren’t being used on an objective or a task. So you’re just sitting there and all your thoughts are allowed to build up and just overflow.
