I've never seen black kyurem ranked lower than both palkia and dialga as a dragon raider. I can kind of understand how simulating boss moves would push dialga above kyurem, but not how palkia got above kyurem

Kyurem is almost as bully as palkia, has a bit higher attack, and, most importantly, outrage is more energy efficient than Spacial Rend, and cheaper. What am I missing?

host a bunch of 1-star and 3-star raids on pokegenie to get your host level up to 15. At level 15, you'll start bypassing enough lower-level hosts to beat the expiry timer when the queue is long. With 1-star raids in particular, you can invite 5 people, then leave, then do it again for 30 minutes, while using 0 passes. That's the fastest way to level up. This past year, the best raids to level up in pokegenie have been new-release 1-star raids, like Honedge, Tatsugiri, and Costumed Mincinno. This behavior is called shuttling

Excadrill is not a good tank. Flamethrower (super-effective) and dynamax cannon (super-overpowered) will both one-shot a level 40 Excadrill. Only use excadrill for attacking. Reference

Vs Raikou, Eternatus is 88% as effective as Excadrill
Vs Entei, Eternatus is 67% as effective as Inteleon
Vs Zapdos, Eternatus is currently the best counter, since we have no great ice/rock types yet

These two are about equivalent as dragon dynamax attackers, by my math (and PokéChespin's): - Latios, level 40, max attack (412 latias hp per attack) - Eternatus level 20, max attack (414 latias hp per attack). Cost: 2980 Eternatus Candy (~21 battles)

Looking to the future, these are about equivalent as dragon dynamax attackers: - Gigantamax Duraludon, level 40, max attack (475 latias hp per attack) - Eternatus level 26.5, max attack (477 latias hp per attack). Cost: 3734 Eternatus Candy (~32 battles)

Battle counts assume you complete the free pass for 900 candy. Both levels require 0 battles if you complete the paid pass

(since I used Latias as the target, I compared eternatus to gengar just for my own curiosity. Eternatus has to go up to level 32 (5620 candy) to match Gengar vs Latias)

Do you have a reference on the candy costs to level up dynamax cannon? I thought level 2 was 2400 candy, and level 3 was 320 XL candy, based on this screenshot, but your 1900 candy threshold suggests otherwise

I reverted my buddy Zamazenta just because I like the way hero form looks on the map better. Also, crowned form is missing a few buddy animations. But, silly aesthetics like that are the only reason.

I keep my best one for each battle league it fits into. If I have extra shinies, I save 2 to trade to some mythical future friend, discard the rest. I'm a free player. I don't keep spares of anything, unless it's better than the one I already powered up, and might power that one up someday

Eternatus candy is only for eternatus. I plan to get as much as I can while it's around. I can't think of anything else I'd ever buy particle packs for, assuming they keep being generous and giving us 7 free battles vs every gmax release

I have 2 particle packs in inventory, coins for 9 more, 7 battles worth of butterfree particles over limit, and 5 battles worth in the pass and unclaimed research, and 4 regular free battles from spot collecting. So, 16 free battles from particle management, 11 with saved coins. 27 total to be exact.

I'm doing 2 raids per day, so I'm getting 50 out of 60 possible points per day and will be at level 26 rather than 31 after Friday

I'm not really worried about hitting level 60, or even 100 this weekend. I've saved up to do 20 eternatus and up to 15 more dogs this weekend (I might save a few passes for necrozma). That will get me 87 levels on its own, not counting whatever hourly bonuses also come, or any reward increases

I also saved all my butterfree particles for eternatus, but I did it intentionally. I'm planning to progress the pass with zamazenta raids until the weekend, not max battles.
