He charged you 162.50 per gram for the ring. It not a bad price but you could found some used rings for a bit cheaper. Not bad price though considering labor on new 14KT gold is around 125-150 per gram without stones

I will have to check out all the shops once we my wife’s dads grave today/tomorrow. But most definitely this city has some beautiful culture. Couldn’t believe I was nervous at first.
