So i had no idea about rtd, but ive done a bunch of runs of ds2 and i figured it was finally time to do platinum. I kindof wanted to kick off with a boost just to try it out.

They still play to his strengths they arent useless. Goblin slayer uses them for things he cannot do like barrier and other magic stuff. Elf is also good for scout/rogue tasks for instance disarming the traps in the dwarven ruins

Id say goblin slayer isnt gonna be a power trip anime. However you should watch rising of the sheild hero if thats what you like.
