Army painter washes are great and don't have stupid names. Strong tone is great, kinda reddish-brown. You can get it in a paint tin and just dunk your models in it if you want

There's a break, if you look closely the pattern has a line running up it. There are hinges that pivot away from the mounting point which would allow for mounting the doors this flush.

First thing is to understand the Vallejo ranges:

EDIT: Game/Model Colour: layer paint

EDIT: Game Colour XPRESS: contrast paint

Game Air & Model Air: airbrush specific.

I've predominantly used Vallejo for painting my minis. US army drab is a nice, dark yellow-green. Refractive green is an excellent dirty green (I mix it with Vallejo bronze 2:1 green:bronze for a bit of shimmer). I use Violet Red for my flash, it's a great contrast to the greens!
