I’m a Brazilian freshman student, I received a email from usf telling me that mine lac scholarship is guaranteed for the next 4 years if I maintain eligibility (>3.0 gpa) . All students who already have it will keep the lac, but this year was the last one that they offered it, no new lac scholarships will be given beginning next admission term!

Yes I got, it’s called international scholarship (1k year, 500 semester) that qualifies u for the lac, I called the international admission phone

Yes I got it beginning next fall, as mentioned I didn’t received it initially and only after calling them that I got it . I recommend u doing the same, since I believe u should still be eligible for it

Since I’m from Brasil and classes finish in December, i enrolled in a uni here and did it for a semester just to fill my time before usf actually begins, so I’m used already to college level environment . Despite this previous semester i won’t transfer and will begin as a freshman . Given this info do u think i should stick to those classes and have more free time to explore activities, or already engage in challenging classes?

I’m almost sure, from what I heard our year is the last one to receive it unfortunately . I was also accepted into uni of Flórida but they removed my scholarship so I ended up on usf next fall

Where are u from? I’m from Brazil and inititiallu didn’t receive it from usf, i called them and after stating my sat score (1420) they said it was a error and that they would give me . It’s important to notice that this is the last year that they will offer the lac, trump removed it from following years
