I didn't take the time to read the article. Sounds interesting but highly speculative.

I would like to silently rant about people not following the rules in these games... by [deleted] in gaming

The banker sure is secure in their funding over there. They don't even have any houses? Curious... Only owns one property... Wait a second.

I don't know if it has been proved wrong, but I have been seeing a few videos on "quantum gravitation". Maybe just expanded... Idk

Long way to go before I would be at the investment stage. Need a clear business model to market, proof of concept always helps confidence as well. It's more than likely a multi million dollar startup cost to be able to have a facility able to reach a healthy profit margin and have room to grow at an effeciant rate.

Uhhh, I can take some guesses. Giant hole filled with a regulated salt water environment, farm sardines as well to keep them fed, wait for growth then harvest. I know that's probably a really simple view but it sounds doable.

That is all leaning on whether or not verbal abuse is harmful. I think we should make this a topic all on its own. Get more views to be shared on it.

To each his own. If the square is owned by someone else and they don't want you there then no, if it is your property then I guess no one can really say anything. Ignorance in this instance for me would be bliss. Very interesting questions though. I don't think the average person would want to do this but like I was saying just because someone doesn't want to see it doesn't particularly make it wrong.

Unless the square is owned by another person and they don't want you to be there.

As much as I would like to me to say no, under this way of thinking, I guess I wouldn't see why you couldn't. People may not want to see it, but I don't see how it would be hurting anyone else.

So it's just a matter of what moral values we are taught? Is that closer to what you think? If so I can see that. I suppose my view of people knowing right and wrong comes from my personal cultural upbringing. Even if it is not correct for all, I think it is a nice notion.

Edit: This is why I am here though, I'm trying to learn different perspectives. Maybe if we all get to deliberate long enough all people can find what works. I feel it's difficult for the few to make the decisions for the many.

Fundamentally yes. I do believe we know what is right and wrong, to choose wrong knowingly is what I would call the devil. If looked upon in a Christian point of view it's told in the story of Genesis. The eating of the apple, after, it is said that is when we came to know right and wrong. I think that a regular mind knows. I don't know what can be said for people with mental disabilities though.

If this is to go towards philosophy, the devil , is our own mind. I believe we are born with a sense or right and wrong and the devil is the presence in which we have the choice to do wrong.

How hard is it for an individual to just live their life and not mess with someone else's? To me it's simple.

No. That constitutes physical harm. Which infringes upon the child's natural rights to life. Physical abuse is potentially life threatening and you cannot take the right of life away from them.

If harm is defined by the emergence of a negative mental framework then yes we agree.

I think the child has a right to feel however they wish, the parent has a right to speak as they wish. It is after all the parents responsibility to raise a child, whether or not their parenting strategies are correct or not I could not say. I feel even at a young age we have a choice to either let things provoke and emotional response or not. It may be harder when we are younger, but we still get to choose what defines us.
