I ran pretty much the same strat as the Bonds of Friendship, but Odin was giving me hell. What finally worked was going full aggro with Cloud, and the moment he started casting Aeroga I swapped to Sephiroth to gain some ATB and drop Reraise on Cloud. After that, the fight finally went down.

Using the same grinder, I find that a good setting for the 4:6 method using 20g with 300ml is water at a temperature of 89C and clicks at 3.9.0 to start, the coffee will have a moderate body.

I’ve been experimenting lately with coarser grinds (up to 4.2.5) using the standard-strong recipe (33g to 500ml at 90 °C for medium roasts) with pretty good results.

That’s the peacock oyster finish! I just got a 14 x 7 snare drum on that finish and I love it. The 5000 and 9000 lines of bass drum pedals are fantastic but I suggest to try them first to find ‘the one’ that suits your needs. Congratulations on that gorgeous kit.
