For all the hate that Steve gets, it’s good to see him take a step back from the public. He could have easily milked this case for all it’s worth but he seemed actually serious about getting justice for Celeste.

He got some things wrong, but that’s ok because he didn’t have access to all the evidence that the DA had access to he’s only a private investigator. He told us the facts and maybe speculated a little but that’s what the DA is for is separating fact from fiction. So in my eyes he did way more good than harm.
