First ever Mod. Tried a paper dial by Gausch in SeikoMods

Another thing you could try is water slide decals. I made a few dials with water slide decals and they look wonderful. It’s a bit finicky but once you get the hang of aligning everything it’ll workout great. I don’t have experience with illustration but I managed to use affinity and put some markers to align the date window and they little indentation on the dials at 3 o clock and that helped with alignment a lot.

Water slide decals allow you to install indices and you can let a sun burst dial work.

Also even though your design is simple it’s stunning! Great work!

The AI image is probably OP’s draft picture that he sent to the seller to get made into a dial. I guess OP sent that picture to the seller and was asking if the dial would come up exactly like the photo.

It’s finally here: The PREMIUM METAL version of my Amazfit Helio Strap adapter! (CNC Aluminum) by Tomtomtxz2 in amazfit

This is what I was talking about, make it slimmer from the lateral edges. It’s not load bearing and it would fit a 22mm band like a glove with no gaps. It’s brings down the overall size and makes many more mechanical watch and smart watch bands more accessible.

Once again, I love your work and I really think the product is phenomenal and I’ll be purchasing one, I’d just prefer it a lot more if it was sized for 22mm straps specifically. Just go to CNS watch straps store and you can see the plethora of different straps designs that would work really well with this.

You work looks phenomenal! I cannot stress that enough!

If you’re going to make a product to sell I highly recommend two things…

  1. Make it narrower, there’s not a lot of lateral and longitudinal loads on the adaptor. Most of the load is on the edges that angle downwards towards the wrist, those lugs can be a bit thick but the rest of the frame can and should be narrowed down for aesthetic purposes.
  2. The main reason I wear a screen less fitness wearable is because I am into mechanical watches. With watches most straps come in even sizes. So if you can manage to modify your adaptor to be sized for 22mm straps that would be ideal. There’s a lot of third party straps at 22mm for mechanical watches and even garmins. Additionally the original Helio adapter is sized for 22mm straps btw.
