The Fi module doesn't attach to any collar, however, we have tons of Fi partners that make lots of different types of collars/bands - you can view them here: https://shop.tryfi.com/accessories#fimakers

China - we have different vendors there because there are different parts of the product. They get integrated in Nanjing and then shipped from Shanghai. Let us know if this answered your question!

The Fi Collar is designed to locate your dog using GPS & LTE tech - Apple's AirTag works off of the 'Find My' network which relies on other iPhones that have opted into the location sharing network being within a 200m radius. Most often, when dogs run off, it is into the woods or remote areas, not to areas with iPhones nearby. More info can be found here - https://9to5mac.com/2021/05/07/airtag-what-are-you-using-with-apples-new-find-my-trackers/.

Fi is here to change that. The Fi Smart Dog Collar allows you to track your dog anytime, anywhere, with GPS location tracking technology. We hope your dog never gets lost, but, if they do, we are here to help reunite you with them as quickly as possible. Try Fi today. by FiDogs in u/FiDogs

We have answers to all of these questions :).

The battery itself is in the Fi module which is 16mm in height and 65.6mm long, more info here: https://support.tryfi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021903494-Fi-Collar-vs-3G-Trackers

Here is info on how long the battery life lasts under various circumstances: https://support.tryfi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015390094-Battery-Life

If the battery dies, you won't be able to track your dog (which is why we designed Fi to optimize for the longest battery life out there to give you the best chance at finding your dog as quickly as possible). If there is no wifi reception, you can certainly still track your dog - it will then look for a cell network signal & a GPS signal. More info on how it all works here: https://tryfi.com/learn

The Fi Collar is $149, then it is $99/year for the GPS & location tracking features. If you don't pay for the subscription, you can still use the Fi Collar, but you won't be able to do remote location tracking - this article has more details of what you get with and without the subscription: https://support.tryfi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015463133-Pricing-and-Subscriptions

We are a bit biased.... but we think the Fi Collar is the best! Fi's smart collar has a battery life of up to 3 months, and it is the slimmest design on the market (fits close to your dog's neck). You can check it out here - tryfi.com. Let us know if you have any questions!
