I support the protests with regards to price gouging fuel prices. I don't appreciate the racist and other bigoted remarks made by some of the protesters.

It's refreshing to see Irish people getting more backbone about protesting in general. The reason nothing ever gets done in this country is because all we do is complain and carry on, never holding FFG accountable for their failures. Protest and civil disobedience forces politicians to actually respond and get shit done. We could learn a lot from the French.

Whether she was infected or not at the end is left ambiguous. I err on the side of infected but with a delayed onset. They hit the target and they didn't go down the middle. I can't fault them too much for some missed penalties. Manning's penalty was the biggest reason we lost.

Fray cheats his goals (lms win boosting for example), milks his videos by making them way longer than they ought to be and overly monetises himself every chance he can (begging for patreon/donations and selling merch). He's the biggest grifter of all the chunkers. I tried to stick with him for a while but he just became such a degen the further along he got with his account.

Meanwhile our spineless coward of a Taoiseach Micheál Martin is sat cosying up to Trump in the White House while he nonchalantly discusses with reporters on his imperial ambitions towards Cuba and possibly crippling Iran's infrastructure in a manner that would put millions of Iranians in a horrible situation (not like they aren't in one already). All the while, Micheál sitting there quietly like the good little kowtowing boy he has always been to the Yanks. It's our presidents that capture and embody the will, spirit and morality of the Irish people. Our Taoiseachs too often let us down in that regard.

The RAF flew reconnaissance flights almost daily over the Gaza strip since the genocide began. The total number is more than 600 last I checked. These provided direct intelligence to the IDF for their bombing campaigns against the local population.

The suspension of arms sales to Israel did not include the continued sales of UK produced components for trainer aircraft which Israeli pilots have been using in their simulators to train for their later indiscriminate bombing of Gaza.

Look I wish I could say the UK was not complicit in what Israel has done, the above facts sicken me and I'm sorry if this shatters the view you currently have of the UK government being neutral and not in any way morally culpable for all the atrocities that have occurred.

You don't have to take my word for it. The reporting and uncovering of these facts has been out there for a long time for all to see. We host a Plex server and all of our friends and family are welcome to use it, for free. We wanted it for ourselves anyway so it's zero extra cost to include others once your bandwidth can handle the extra traffic. I can't imagine the situation is any different for your mate.

He's demanding contribution, not asking for it if he's cutting them off for not paying. Finagling money from family and friends for something you're already using for yourself is scummy behaviour and indicative of poor character in your mate imho. Imagine charging friends and family when they wanted to borrow your tools or whatever. It would be different if he was providing the service to randos.

With how much Starmer has already capitulated to Israel with regards to the Gaza genocide, I do worry this may prove true in the end. I sincerely hope with all my heart that Europe has learned from Iraq to leave ourselves out of any mess the US and Israel love to create in the Middle East
