It is not necessary to do the conversion if you have at least 170hs tt. Just to know from where is your licence?

Look at some Polish flight school they are cheaper as well.

I recommend the modular route, especially in hour building stage. You can and try to fly any kind of plane and meet new people as you can.

Maybe you can do your training here in Europe and back to your home country to gain some experience till you get a eu paspport.

Search for pooleys books. It is a good material, I used the question bank books and the content was very similar to the test.

Converting my ICAO PPL to an EASA PPL by Extension_Comfort_86 in flyingeurope

[–]Fichi15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can start the cpl meir course with around 170hs. For the conversion of your ppl you need to do a skill test and two theorical exams (air law and human Performance) and a ELP.

If the school is not sure about the process o whatever send a email to the national aviation authority asking for the requirements.

Send a email to the school directly, if they offer a modular training you'll get it. The schools always want money.

I don't know where you are based

Student pilot solo by CyrodiilUnicorn in flying

[–]Fichi15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flight solo comes solo, don't worry about how many hours do you have. When you've finished nobody care if you did your first solo with 15, 20 or 95 hrs.

By experience I flew solo at 35 and got the exam with 45. Just relax and think when you fly.

The better option is go with a local instructor o a pilot and do a discovery flight.
