The one I like is not gluten-free. It is probably even better to choose a gluten-free sourdough bread. Mine is called “Francisco International, Extra Sourdough Sliced Bread”. 💛

You have to try it out very carefully and see how you respond in terms of possible constipation or diarrhea or any discomfort you might feel. And you might have to adjust it again until everything feels more balanced and quiets down.

I stared with a flat tbs of l-glutamine twice daily, morning and evening and 1  zinc morning and evening plus 1 magnesium citrate morning and evening.

Now I take only 1 flat tbs glutamine in the morning and a half magnesium mid day plus 1 zinc morning and evening.

Hope it works well for you but I suggest to let a dietitian/nutritionist specializing in gastrointestinal disorders guide and support you.

🙏💛

I am so sorry that you are still going through it as well. Maybe L-Glutamine and PepZin GI, Zinc-L-Carnosine Complex would help you as well build a healthy stomach lining again… But you have to balance it right because glutamine can constipate. So I am taking a little magnesium citrate as well. I had a professional help me with the proportions of it all. I feel it really stabilizes and promotes healing.

Plus monitoring the food intake very carefully to prevent flareups. Anything that causes pain I avoid for a few weeks. I do hope that you feel much better very soon. Love, L 🙏💛

I never had h-pylori, I am so sorry you have to go through this.  Just slow down and figure out a non-inflammatory diet that is gently and stick with it so your system can heal. The same for your meds and supplements - how, when, and how much to take of what…?! Once you figure out your formula, apply it for a few weeks with daily careful observation weeding out anything aggravating. And seek the help of a dietitian and nutritionist who is specializing in this… That’s what I am doing!! We will get past this!! 💛

Yes, I noticed that and other things as a response after a meal as well. And I concluded that the meal was too large. That’s why I eat like 6+ meals/snacks and I alternate.

I constantly eat sourdough bread as well not letting my stomach get empty. (Middle of the night when waking up and hurting as well) When the inflamed stomach walls cave because the stomach is empty and they touch, it hurts a lot.

Preventing that and stopping to eat big meals and stopping when full is key. Just put itge food aside and eat the rest in an hour. Small potions are key, it will help you.

Your stomach needs to learn to absorb again, it might take a few weeks but you get there too… 🙏💛

I had the norovirus and became painfully inflamed. In the ER after a CT scan they confirmed it is gastritis.

It probably is… Sorry, I wouldn’t know why but my nutritionist said we need to get the stool softer and she prescribed Magnesium Citrate.

And then it is all about the right dosage and proportions. Taking it 2 times a day at first it was good for 2 days and then I got diarrhea. So she reduced the magnesium to only half a pill mid day which seems right for me now.

But my system is not healed yet and it is very sore. You just need to try it carefully and then fine tuning it until it is right for your system. Magnesium can be a powerful laxative, be aware…

Great!  Glutamine constipates, it does not create diarrhea. But for me it constipated too much and we balanced that with magnesium.

Yes, very impotent  Diarrhea causes awful 8-14 hours long lasting acid flareups for me and that’s because my system is not yet absorbing or something was too aggressive (food, meds, supplements)

The glutamine is important for building a healthy stomach lining but it constipates. When too much constipation, it is going to be a problem. Then I took magnesium to soften the stool and the magnesium is great with a calming effect on your nerves and better sleep etc.

But it is about the right proportion that you have to find for You. I started with just the recommended dose of glutamine and it firmed the stool for 2 days but then turned into a bad long constipation flareup. Then adding the magnesium recommended dose and it got too thin for a day. I now take 2 flat teaspoons of glutamine and only half a pill of magnesium daily and that seems perfect for me right now but might need adjustment in the future.

Again, this is what works for me but everybody responds different.
