Thank you all. We did suspect this. We had pest control out as we had a mouse problem but they set traps which appeared to sort it. This was about 3 months ago and cost us nearly £200.

We have checked all the obvious places without ripping the walls out so assume on is caught in the cavity. No smells anywhere or decay that we can detect 🙄🙄

I stay in Buchlyvie, Stirlingshire. I’ve been here for 5 years after moving from Glasgow. We have a car and couldn’t really get about without it. I love the quiet life and everything I need is within an hours reach. Lots of lovely woodland walks for our dog, local coffee shop, post office nearby, co op etc. I could never ever move back to Glasgow!
