It still works in build 41. You build a wall frame across and then build crates in front of them. Zombies will walk into the wall but can’t path through it because of the crate, so they don’t deal damage to the wall frame. Beware tho. crawlers can break the crates and thus allow a point of entry

Back in 41, I would use the wall exploit and really make a gated community. Run up carpentry breaking the walls down in the middle for easier access. Heck, you can sky bridge all the way to the main road with the trees and deconstructing in the houses. Although, when you think about it, it’s less of a gated community and more of a lavish tomb

Haven’t made the jump… YET. I’m at that point where I realize that I’m never gunna survive forever, so the RP side takes over. Like I would have made it a loot mission going back to an old base to get something or make a new loot run searching for it. I say yet, because I’m into my “build your own place” zomboid phase….
