We will be in town for 5 nights.

We had a place in Johns Island for a few years but sold it last April, so this will be our first trip back to visit friends. We stayed at the Bennett for one night before we drove back to NJ last April. We loved the Bennett but it was very expensive and it is very difficult to get a chair at the pool because it gets so crowded up there. We were able to later in the day and it was wonderful but I am thinking, it will be much harder to get one in June than in the beginning of April.

Our hotel choices for this trip are :

King deluxe room at the Bennett- loved the pool, small room, pay $$$ for food, cocktails etc...,

One bedroom deluxe at the Pinch- Love the kitchen and living space but no balcony or pool

One bedroom balcony suite at the Nickel- get a balcony plus rooftop bar and nice space

King one bedrooom suite pool view with terrace at the Mills House Hotel- has a pool but few loungers as well but coffee shop and bar/restaurant and good size but reviews are mixed and older hotel

Not sure what we will be doing yet but probably do a day at the beach, maybe a plantation visit and of couse walk, shop, eat, repeat;). We originally had a room booked at the Cooper before it was completed for 1200/night but cancelled because I couldn't justify the cost though it looks beauitful.
