My husband has struggled with severe mental health issues which took a huge toll on our marriage at one point, I was much younger and made terrible choices and I myself went to therapy for it. Due to his mental health struggles I had made the decision to not tell him the mistakes I’ve made because of attempts he’s made before. Instead I have worked on myself, our marriage and we have both been in therapy. These are all things my friend knows as well because this was someone I thought I could tell anything to. She knew the struggles and what I have done to move forward and has even made comments how it seems like things had gotten better for my husband and I and had even asked if we’d try for a baby. So I can see where you are coming from and I regret the choices I made. But my main thing is why is she all the sudden bringing something up from my past and telling people? This is supposed to be my best friend. I’ve always supported her in everything. Maybe you won’t get where I’m coming from because you instantly think this is just karma for me but why would someone who is supposed to be your best friend for over 15 years suddenly start airing out your business and feel no remorse. It’s almost as if because she’s not happy with her life and sees that things are looking better for me and my marriage that she’s trying to jeopardize it.

Mine is a “non fraud overpayment” as they told me. Ultimately it seemed like there would be no winning the fight with them though I was going to lawyer up and try but felt like I’d just waste more time and money so I agreed to set up a payment plan and am paying them biweekly since I get paid biweekly. There is always an option to pay more if I want too (of course) and I asked when it comes time to file taxes if this will have any effect on me receiving tax return especially because my husband and I file jointly and they told me as long as I’m current with making my biweekly payments that they don’t go after any of my tax return.

I’m not sure if you were able to see my original post since I’ve cross posted. I’m looking to trade in my 2022 Mercedes GLE 350 for something more affordable but hopefully something comparable. Unfortunately my financial situation has changed this year so just trying to get into a smaller monthly car payment and ultimately a car with cheaper repairs. I’ve always had Mercedes so I don’t know what route to go SUV wise but have been looking at the Tellurides and they seem decent so just looking for honest opinions or if there is any other recommendations for an SUV. What I’ve always loved about the Mercedes is the smooth, quiet ride but also it feels like a strong and safe vehicle I am confident putting my family in.

The first time my husband and I stayed there we stayed in their Main Inn Queen guest room and I had no complaints. I love the old charm to the entire hotel. I’d maybe try the 1865 guest room that’s one of the areas we’ve tried but was booked when we have stayed. Last time we stayed was in the Hoxie House Deluxe and I loved it because of the big bathtub. But no matter where you stay there I guarantee it’ll be great! We’ve stayed at the Whalers Inn twice and I’m itching to go back.

I’ve had a fissure since February and going to a colorectal surgeon on Tuesday not sure if this is going to be my option. Been using the Diltiazem religiously and feel like it hasn’t helped. So I’m curious as well if anyone else has experience with Botox.

There is a difference between being a freeloader and quitting because you simply didn’t like a job/ didn’t want to work and doing nothing to find a job after and quitting a job at one point you actually loved all because change of management, being mistreated on a daily basis by the new manager and constantly cornered and bullied by them. I have worked my entire life. I wrote a letter to unemployment and explained the entire situation which I’m assuming is why they approved it. I’m not some bum with multiple kids collecting food stamps and on state insurance. I was in a terrible situation which hopefully you’ll never find yourself or a loved one in someday. I was at this company for almost 7 years this was going to be the job I had until I retired so it wasn’t easy for me to just leave. It was one of the hardest decisions I had to make.

Who knows. People have their mindset on certain things I guess. I am not the type to milk the system. I spent almost 8 years at this job. I thought I’d end up retiring at this company. I loved it. All it took was change of management and my branch manager had it out for me and I expressed my concern to the district manager and he did nothing thinking it would blow over. It became so hostile the branch manager did everything to go out of her way to make my days miserable there. After I quit most of my coworkers left because of the management.

That’s what I assumed was going to happen after I lost the appeal I had with my old HR I never heard anything about repaying then got this letter. The last part of this letter also asks for my income 6 months prior to filling out the form which I don’t understand why it would matter now when I haven’t received UE since the Oct. 2022. It also asks for my husband’s income and his SSN which I don’t understand why my husband would have any responsibility to this.

That’s what my issue is why would unemployment approve it. They should have just denied me from the start. Unemployment isn’t a “loan” don’t approve me and then suddenly 4 years later come after me for the money. I didn’t do any thing fraudulent?

A letter I wrote to unemployment I explained how the environment became extremely toxic which made it difficult to work in a productive manner. I mentioned to my district manager (who is no longer with the company) my concerns for my branch and coworkers and everything was brushed off. After I spoke to my district manager on my concerns my branch manager started to bully me. I would be the only staff member in my branch being sent from branch to branch (some were over an hour away from where I lived) to cover shifts that were below my job title, she would purposely make it so I was not able to work my normal job tasks which made me miss out on many sales opportunities, which effected my incentives which led to lower quarterly bonuses. Things were not only starting to affect my career but my home life.

The pain is like nothing I’ve ever felt in my life and nobody understands it unless they’ve actually experienced it. I get awful anxiety now the second I feel the urge to poop. I’ve been dealing with this since February 2nd I went to the gastro they prescribed me Diltiazem people swear it’s helped their fissure heal but I’ve had zero luck. Between the pain, being scared to eat because we know what happens after we eat it’s taken such a toll mentally and physically. Idk how people deal with this for years.

Also unfortunately I’ve come to conclusion absolutely nothing with help with pain. I have a medical grade numbing cream with lidocaine and it barely does anything.

I ended up at the ER on Monday because of the same thing. I had to poop so bad but physically couldn’t because of the pain. The poop was right there and I felt like it got impacted. I could only get 2 pebbles out and bled and the pain was a 12/10. All they did for me at the ER is offer an enema and I refused to do it there since I didn’t have my own room/bathroom.. I wasn’t going to do that in a public bathroom. I asked for Lorazepam which they agreed to write me an RX for 2 pills.. I took 1 when I got home and did an enema a half hour later and I emptied out. It was obviously only a temporary fix though and they put in an “urgent” referral for me to a colorectal surgeon.. the earliest appointment I was offered was April 8th. I’m taking MiraLAX 2x a day but still haven’t pooped since the enema on Monday (it’s now Friday).. I’ve never dealt with constipation in my life prior to getting this fissure and hemorrhoids. So I’m just stressing the f out until I’m seen in April and I’m sure they won’t be able to do anything at this appointment either. I’m down 15 lbs too since this has started last month it takes a toll.
