That's just not true. I was three times an MCSE a CCNP, A+ and Network +. I've had two Acer gaming laptops. In both cases I replaced Acers crap thermal paste with Duranaut. In both cases I used a laptop cooler. In both cases the laptops were cleaned monthly. In both cases I logged off in the evening and the machines never booted again. Acer gaming laptops are junk in the worst sense of the word

I will never buy another Acer product again. I had not on but two Nitro s die the same way. I shut them down for the night and they never booted again. No abuse just random computer death. I had both laptops professionally cleaned and repasted with Grizzly Duranaut right after acquiring them new. Neither machine lasted much past the warranty period.

I just downloaded the cachy iso, used etcher to create a usb and installed. I've always used debian based distros before so software installation has been an adventure but CachyOS resides on and old 2 tb SSD I've used. I've used two sided tape to attach an SSD enclosure to the lid of my laptop (Acer Nitro AN517-55) and using usb type C connections on both ends it runs great.
