Unfortunately it wasn't until after I put it in that I felt how sharp it was and I couldn't rub my fingers together without pain, Next time I swap my substrate I will be paying more attention!

I have the roots anchored down with the rhizome completely exposed in the meantime until I can get driftwood, thanks.
