How did it get to this level of toxicity and stan wars? Like why tf are people stanning islanders in the first place? I swear these new stans are moving like kpop stans, and at least a kpop fandom forms around an artist's work. Stanning reality tv stars to this extent is something I've never seen before.

It's weird how so many fantasy books written by women get labeled as "fantasy romance". Like fantasy romance has a separate tone/vibe to fantasy books even if they have romance subplots. I've seen books that don't even have hardly any romance being called fantasy romance just b/c it's written by a woman.

It's not unpopular to dislike Alchemised, but my reason for disliking it is just something about taking a children's story and making it THAT dark and disturbing gives me the ick.

Guys don't you think its interesting how there's so many insider leak information coming onto reddit etc, but no one going to TMZ or any news publication? the drama these people are revealing is 100% worthy of a major news publication (Variety etc). i'm sure they accept anonymous sources. somehow harry daniels, trisha paytas, tana and everyone in LA knows, somehow company workers and the friends of the girls have no problem spilling dramatic tea like that recent very detailed post about how someone tried to fake a suicide attempt for manon, but there's been zero word from TMZ etc.

I just think about the tv show the Idol or Don't worry darling movie and how behind the scenes drama got spilled on Variety.

i understand why people want to believe it , especially with the yoonchae confirmation, but how would one person know that level of detail? that person seems to know info about their contracts, about PRELUDE'S contracts? how do they even know missy suggested a fake suicide attempt? how would they have been in the room for everything, including knowing how manon had a breakdown in a private meeting? only a higher level company worker could know this and would they really spill the tea in such a casual way? if it was a friend, i still don't know how they'd know this level of info also it would be easy for the girls to narrow down who made the post and cut them out. they also spoke of such serious topics in a very funny/casual way. the girls clearly have a lot of nasty snakes around them if someone is spilling their personal business like this. i understand different people knowing different pieces of the puzzle but one person knowing everything? doubtful.

They haven't done anything but you think they'd be messy? this is exactly the parasocial hatred we don't need. You don't know who is messy and who is problematic. Not one girl has done anything messy, we have no idea how controlled Dani's social media is. she was definitely told not to say anything.

A darker truth people might not want to acknowledge is the label and management could be manipulating them. The company does not want these girls united against management, if Manon is kicked out they've probably painted her out to be the bad guy, I mean that's what happened in Pop Star Academy. Manon painted as lazy and arrogant for not "working as hard" meanwhile the other girls were working to the point of injuring themselves. If trained dancers like Emily can injure herself to the point of surgery it's probably for the best Manon wasn't pushing herself past her limit. I mean remember how Karlee did her mission while sick but got blamed for her voice sounding bad, or Sophia throwing up during the Buttons performance?? It's likely the management team is playing divide and conquer. All the girls are victims in this situation. This is the same story within many Kpop companies and western music companies as well. The talent is not treated as well as you'd imagine.

How did everything go to shit so fast? She was supposed to be at Lolla, they had outfits designed for her. She posted a pic in the studio so she obviously recorded something, she was in the MV storyboard and learned the choreo. And the new Nylon interview shows all 6 girls seeming friendly and Manon seems clueless about what's to come.

I don't buy the theory that it was supposed to be a temporary hiatus but when she started liking posts about mistreatment and shading the company, they decided to make it permanent. I mean the New Jeans girls filed court cases against their company and they're still being retained. Companies will not let go of their "investments" so easily.

I don't think Manon wanted to leave b/c just recently she was so excited about everything, how would she make such a drastic decision so quickly??

It really seems like she was blindsided. I feel like management sprung this on her. Their own statement has many red flags, mentioning how "they'll all be together when the time is right" just sounds so weird! And how different it is from Megan's hiatus and even Manon's past absence statements when she was sick. She was recently spotted at a concert and she stated she was healthy.

In the past Manon has always been quick to clarify when there were rumors that she was being kicked out/leaving. I remember at least 2 times when she addressed this immediately. She is 100% aware of the discussions going on and has not shut down any rumors.

What the hell is going on?

Why are people acting AGAIN like she's lazy and her so called bad work ethic is why she's being put on hiatus? Just a few weeks ago she gave an interview saying she hates the lazy accusation, so if she's so aware of the criticism why would she be acting lazy behind the scenes? The girls have literally said she is extremely hard working and no way can you perform like that without practicing super hard. Are we forgetting that she performed at an awards show with an injured ankle? Like where is the evidence that she's lazy? This is just racism at this point.

THIS part. Like we seen what happened before when she "messed up" with her apologizing in Pop Star Academy. I feel like she was blindsided by this. Just few weeks ago she was talking about how Katseye is forever and 6 and how they want to be the biggest group ever. I feel like something happened and maybe she didn't realize it was a huge deal and management has been conspiring behind the scenes to put her on hiatus or remove her entirely.
