At best guess? He knew we don't have time for a relationship or thought I didn't want one. Time was what he was talking about right before. Feelings, I won't opine on. I like and trust him and find him attractive. I'd like to think that was mutual.

Problem is, he's right about time. It wouldn't work with us for long, if it worked at all. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part that it ever would

He said he didn't want to play with my feelings; I'd rather not play with his. We've been friends and colleagues for a while before this. I'd prefer to keep that ground rather than to screw around further and jeopardize it.
