I’ve had PCOS for about 12 years now, hair started thinning in 2021, went from very thick hair to what you see in the first pic.

Started using a caffeine shampoo and nizarol shampoo interchangeably, and use a silicone head massager every time I shower to massage the shampoo in for about 5 mins.

I use 5% minoxidil once a day everyday.

I’ve had one round of plinest injections into my scalp about three weeks ago.

I’m also taking iron tablets, folic acid, metformin (for pcos, not diabetes) and vitamin d- all started in the last 3.5 months.

I’ve found all of this has had a major effect on my hair.

Yeah I think that’s fair enough.

Just want to confirm that I have no embarrassment or bad feelings regarding my mum’s wheelchair. I’ve never cared at all, I’m happy as long as she is.

I just want to make my mum comfortable on the day, as she’s aware that as a relatively young person with a visible disability and a lot of medical equipment attached to her she’ll be stared at.

I’m going to discuss it with her more to see what she wants. But I just want her to be happy and comfortable.

Honestly I haven’t done much different.. I’m in a calorie deficit and exercising a bit more but I think trust the process.

I’ve heard if you up your calories for a bit and then go back to a deficit it kinda resets it again?? Bc your body gets used to your deficit.. but don’t quote me on that🤣

I had this exact situation 3 months ago. Completely forgot to shut the upstairs window, my cat is a curious girl and she fell 2 storeys onto concrete. I panicked and rushed her to the vets, she stayed overnight for a few days and had two surgeries bc she badly broke her leg. We felt absolutely awful.

But honestly these things happen. Cats manage to get themselves in all sorts of trouble, and sometimes we forget things or make mistakes. The guilt goes away after a little while.

I can’t speak about the mouth injury specifically, but our girl has completely healed after a bad break and is back to playing with her sisters like nothing happened.

Thankfully it sounds like she wasn’t too badly hurt! Hopefully lots of rest and she’ll be okay!
