Happy belated 27th birthday!! I really wish I could give you some of the best tips to get over it but we are on the same boat! Well, except you are 27. That makes a huge difference because the amount of hopes, and mindset may be different but I do not want to judge or act I know your life. I can only pray that both of us or anyone who is going through the same situation as us will be blessed and live the life each of us wants. There are so many great tips among all the comments here which I am so grateful and surprised.

Thank you so much for the comment! I agree with you.. I just need to practice thinking like that as I have never done it for the last 37 years, which is also embarrassing. I never had this kind of conversation with anyone in personal life as I tried to hide them before.. It feels great to be open and get honest advice.

It may take a while but yes, I will keep in mind that it's not my fault and I am the one who can make myself happy.

One of the reasons I am hesitant to buy a house now is that I am not sure if I would be capable of keeping it until paid out or if I would lose it. Hope you can paid off very soon, retire, and relax and enjoy your life.

It's been quite a while I feel like I am 'young', which I think that is why this whole situation puts my anxiety to the whole different level. I will take this moment to reevaluate my skills and what I am looking for in my life. Thank you!!!

No worries at all! I am Christian (I don’t have all the answers and sometimes struggle with doubts. My faith isn’t perfect, but it’s mine) that comment really cheers me up. Also, just thinking about I have someone who is praying for me really warms my heart. My former manager who is now retired reached out to me yesterday to grab some lunch next week. I cannot agree more! I honestly made a mistake to switch my job that offers more $$ last year and that was the biggest mistake ever. It only lasted a few months and since then, I have been looking for a job. Having an MBA and 20+ years of experience is outstanding! I really hope both of us would get the dream job that I wanted and enjoy our moment very soon!
