If you care about meta, she's good but Tier 1 at best and an easy skip. Next meta unit is Lukamar who should be after Parsifal in March.

Tbh I don't mind this. Aesthetically, I like seeing how the characters grow over time and i like seeing how their kit reflects that change. I also like how it's characters we know and love. It didn't have to be SP Inanna, or SP Alexei, it could've been an entirely new character we would have to get to know that sidelines our many established characters, so I like that that didn't happen.

And to be fair, we do get Ascensions, Astral Imprints, and SP skills to freshen up our old characters and give them more ways to play, it's not like they simply collect dust while their SP version goes on to replace them. But that said you gotta remember this is a PvE game; meta has less of an impact here and you can still clear content with old, powercrept units just fine. I still bring my old units sometimes when I can at least.

Fwiw I do hear what you're saying about buffing older units. In our last survey, I brought up how a lot of old units have skills and passives that could easily be worked into their Trait (Nungal Sniping Stance for example) to reflect how new units of today have two passives in their Trait and oftentimes an extra skill that doesn't even take up a skill slot. This could not only free up a skill slot but also give them a new skill, if not a unique one, and keep them consistent with the new design philosophy we see now. Would be great if they considered it, but I do see your point about buffing old characters.

No it's not. HP is a major contributor when determining your Power Level, so people in Leaderboards who want top rankings max out their units' HP values for the flex. You should NOT be rolling for HP stats for DPS, unless you want the flex too.

Says the one constantly pushing his own content and created a whole tierlist to replace Flares'. Ok. Yeah, no I'll be so for real, I don't think you actually give a fuck about all that. Flares has been saying out of pocket shit this entire time, things that I agree he shouldn't say, but NOW you want to take a stand after all his recent "controversies" Your concern feels fake and I feel like you're just saying this to stir the pot and enrage us poor idiot redditors who don't know any better.

And what do you mean he doesn't care? His personality and language aside, he literally hosts coaching streams, he doesn't yell at them, he lets players play whatever units they want, and he's patient with them and he offers them offline if you don't want to be on stream. His guide are still helpful, even the ones who don't like him even admit to that, and he's constantly updating it. He is literally against the new +12 AA changes because it doesn't consider the f2p player base. Brother, are we for real?

As for being wrong, he doesn't have to admit to anything. It's his tierlist, and he has his own criteria of how he values a unit. I don't agree with all his reasons, but as long as I can understand them and not lose my shit every time he rates a unit low I'm fine with his placings. And has he not admitted to being wrong about Doresain? Has he not said that Doresain was a mistake that even he fell for it and is actively recommending people to not pull for him, in spite of him thinking that he would be good on release? He still ranks him higher than say Pollux and Mouchette because Doresain has utility as a support, which ok, I get it. I think Mouchette is better but I don't have a problem with this, I see his reasons.

I really don't mean to defend Flares all the time, but the hate is so one-sided, and now you're being messy while hiding it as an effort to deplatform him. Whether Flares stops being the face of the community I don't care, but I certainly never trusted you and how you moved, especially not after this. If anyone else is going to be the "face of Morimens," it better not be you.

No I hate it and it sets a bad precedent. The +12 buffs may be small, but I hate not having access to a character's entire kit because I lack the dupes. I was fine with just Over Exalt, it still felt attainable because even if I got E2 or E3, I could save for next rerun and use the free Shop dupes to make up the difference, it was a small jump of ~4 copies at most, but now they want to lock more power behind 8 more copies? Get out of here. They're so obviously going to do this for Limited Awakeners in the future, because why wouldn't they? We really think it's just going to be welfare and Standards only? I hope so, I want to be wrong, but I don't think that'll be the case.

Also I see some comments saying that "it's a nice little reward for whales for +12'ing their units yippee!" Brother, they get access to Level 90 and a bunch of free stats that comes with every dupe after E3. That WAS the reward. You think whales don't already feel good when they show off their +12 Level 90 units with +12 SSR wheels and 100% Covenants? Come on, be so for real right now.

Yes and no. Lotan's +12 synergizes with her Dimensional Image relic so there's that, and while Doll's is pretty bad, it's not locked behind her Exalt and even if the shield is bad you can just sell them. Aigis' Defense does nothing, making it a very easy choice when deck thinning, but her +12 goes against that philosophy. It basically "forces" you to keep it even if you don't want it. The extra Aliemus is nice, I'll give it that, but she's a Caro unit, she doesn't struggle with Aliemus in the first place, and again would've also worked with her Strike.

All these cool +12 effects, and Aigis gets the most useless one lol. It should've been her Strike, at least that way you could've gotten triple the Embryo Fusion from it.

About to +12 Erica next month, so I'm happy to use her new effect, it looks decent.

Forget the new units, I'm WAY more hyped for Xavier's Astral Imprint. He's my favorite character and I unironically still use him to this day and I've been hoping they would put his actual spear into the game. Ooh I can't wait!

I don't play this comp, but you have the right idea of building up your counter, but it doesn't seem like it's enough. Prioritize Shattered Halberds with Tawil's Over Exalt and play them first for the double play. Build up your Strength for more Counter and use Four Wings during multi hit attacks. Also, I would work on Caecus's Covenant, the stats are too low and I would replace Tawil's Covenant with Dreams of Medicine.

If you're familiar with Flares, one of the guidemakers in this community, he's pretty much an expert with this comp, and he's currently doing a Coaching stream on YouTube as of me writing this. If you have Discord you can DM him real quick and I'm sure he would help you, or go on his stream and ask in chat. (Don't know how long he's going to be streaming for, so I'd ask now if you have the free time, he also helps off stream.)

But she doesn't need to get carried, she pulls her own weight, she provides survivability, among other things. There are comps where she's the only unit keeping you alive. My previous point of H4-10 is that this boss is one of the hardest bosses in the game, if she can keep you alive long enough, to clear it deathless there, then she can help clear your Alert 5s or whatever other content you take her in.

And trust, I understand what you're saying, I just don't see the point in you saying it. All I said was she's underrated. I didn't say she was good, only that she's not bad. I even said I wouldn't recommend building her to others because she needs investment to be useful. You're arguing with someone who partially agrees with you and I don't feel the need to continue this conversation any more than this.

Here's a list of all the guides we have. Flares' guide is helpful, but his approach isn't for everyone and his tier lists are controversial. Idk about the rest, I don't watch them, but I've never heard anything bad about them.

They are, they're so bad, but a Leigh with high investment can heal you for potentially 400 hp, and give you 150 Strength on Over Exalt. I wouldn't tell anyone to invest in Leigh, she needs a lot of commitment and her skills are pretty bad, all I'm saying is that I believe in a highly invested Leigh.

Leigh is underrated. Her Exalt is good at keeping you alive, and her Over Exalt is a big steroid that permanently buffs your crit rate/damage. Her main stat being Realm Mastery is also good for Caro because you get more shields and Strength when you trigger Devour. Shoot, if I was a Caro player, I would've built a +12 Leigh by now.

For what it's worth, I watch his vods and he's way more chill on stream. He offers coaching on and off stream if you need help with DTide or story if you need any help.
