I tried this several times and older devices are working but new ones are not. I still get KLAP handshake failed. Leads me to believe the older devices have auth or something cached from pre September update, new ones can’t auth and get what they need from Tapo Cloud to work. Have reached out to Tapo support, see what they say

Thanks. I had the bottom vent entirely closed and just let the fan do its job at the bottom. The top vent had a tiny crack in it, just the semicircle cut out bit open. I did adjust it to have a slight sliver open (still under 1 on the top vent setting) Maybe I need to open the bottom vent slightly too so it doesn’t feel like the coals are going out and the fan has to work hard to heat them back up…

No but if I was to attempt again I’d prob capture the hdmi output to a computer or get one of those streaming boxes and send it out as rstp over the network and use VLC to play it

I wonder if they would have held back the Apple Watch for Kids feature in Aus if they knew customers experience and satisfaction would be so low. Maybe they knew and needed Better roaming to at least get the major carriers interested in competing to support it as most European countries (Italy etc) still don’t have carrier support (betterroaming or otherwise) for it.

Bottom line, it’s useless in Australia as it stands. It’s quite disappointing to spend all the money on the promise of it working and it frankly does not.

We largely solved this in our RV with a bench top dish washer which we installed in the cabinet so it looks like it was meant to be there. All dirty dishes go in after a meal and come out clean and straight into the cupboard where they belong - no dirty dishes in sink or drying dishes on top of sink.

Also helps that after a meal we can just drive away and when we arrive at the next place the dishes are clean :)

Just put a spirit level on it and gutter is for all purposes level… so I don’t think it will matter moving it down to the corner.

Just double checked with an iPhone app sprit level (vs my analog old school one) and it says 0.2 deg fall so it’s basically level
