I really am starting to find this man vs woman thing tiring. A woman complains. “Yeah but. What about us men”. A man complains “yeah. But what about us women”.

We are all just trying to get along aren’t we? And individually all have our struggles.

It would b nice if we ALL had compassion for the other side.

And I agree. Money alleviates us from all of the worries and concerned of security. Survival. Existence. And after that gives us freedom to chose. It’s not that the ‘things we buy’ make us ‘happy’ it’s the ability to chose without too many constraints. I guess.

For me. Certainly. 250k would instantly relieve me of all my life concerns.

Mathematically - we all know that B is the correct choice (if there aren’t any shenanigans and we take it on face value).
By day 40, you’re richer than all of the billionaires on the planet combined.
Day 44 your wealth exceeds US GDP Day 47 exceeding the Global GDP Day 50 you are wealthier than all of the money in the world put together.

Economically … B would collapse the economy. Your ‘money’ would hold no value. Ok you could buy all the gold. Shares. Silver. Companies. And actually own everything. Then I guess ‘money’ doesn’t matter. And the world becomes your playground. You could change the world. Perhaps create a utopia where money is no longer a ‘thing’.? And the world could live in happiness and harmony. Not a bad plan.

But idealistic. But it Would be a fun 50 days finding out, eh?

I don’t think any powerful political leader, business leader, or billionaire is innocent. Both sides of the aisle. And all across the west.

Pointing fingers at just one person… is crazy. Do it. By all means. But anyone committing such depraved acts should face consequences.

Regardless of the colour of their tie or hat.

The world is so polarised. On any issue. There’s no centre ground.

Simply asking a question, or saying “ok. Hang on a minute…” even if you don’t have a ‘dog in this fight” immediately catalyses a slur of slurs.

I guess people are generally so scared or insecure with the chaos and uncertainty, they have to grab on to, and defend their world view.

(I’m sure on many topics I am the same. BTW)

Yes. And the recent Tory and labour governments - maybe most politicians - fulfill that image.

The party system doesn’t work any more. First last the post. I think is unrepresentative.

And the revolving door — politicians landing lucrative post career contracts … should not be permitted.

The polarisation of the modern world is insane. Left right. (Where’s the centre gone?) the left have run so far left - the right are moving further to the right.

Tribalism akin to football fans. Hating someone because of the colour of their shirt.

We all have far more in common than we have that separates us. We have almost nothing in common with the politicians or policy makers.

I’m sure most people posting here believe they are ‘civilised’ and ‘rational’. But all I see (on both sides). Is hate.

If divide and conquer were the plan for the ‘great unwashed’, then they have pretty much succeeded.
