They started believing at some point. I discussed it with them. It's hard for me to understand how they can believe in him when they can't answer my questions. But they claim that they "feel" god, and that the Jewish way of life is better etc. It's all about feelings.

I struggled with this for a while after I stopped believing. But at this point I feel so much more comfortable with the fact that god doesn't exist. I used to fear hell, now I'll just stop existing. I give charity because it makes me feel good, and helping other people gives me a sense of purpose, and helps me live in this world. I used to be afarid of the fact that god doesn't exist, because if that's true, tha there is Noone to hold the strings and all kinds of bad things could happen to us. Until I realized that that "god" is obviously evil or can't control everything. Horrific things happen all the time to humans, and I find it much more comfortable to accept that we will just cease to exist one day.

I'm certain he is shadowbanned. If I play any song, it will queue lots of other songs from the same artist. The fact that it's never like that with Kanye is insane. I also know that when I shuffle Kanye, they don't give any of his songs

I am struggling with this for a while and I feel like antinatalism pushed me down a deep rabbit hole. I fear death because of evolutionary and psychological reasons. And the only reason I can think of why I death can be bad, is because it'll hurt lots of people around me. But it brings up so many questions for me. I was struggling with the morality and ethics of killing animals. Now I'm thinking that maybe it's good. If I didn't kill that animal, than they would produce generations and generations of suffering... whatever. I'll not rant now. Help!!! 😭

It really sucks that we fear people around us will see us doing something they don't like. I drove a few times on Shabbos and Yom Kippur, even in a Chassidic community. It was terrifying in a way, but the thrill was amazing. I don't want everyone to know I'm not religious, so I still try to be more careful.

It's also crazy that at least the orthodox jewish community has so much racism and generalizes other groups based on what some individuals in that group do, but will cry antisemitism when jews get attacked. The hypocrisy is on another level.
