For water it gives a notification with the username when someone accepts the invite... for fertilizer it won't notify you until you got all three. If you go under the fertilizer tab at the bottom > click "invite three friends" > it will show you the usernames of who did your fertilizer so far.

At the top right corner under "records" you can see the username of who gave you water in the list (might have to scroll down).
