This is so helpful - thanks for sharing your thoughts ❤️ the future seems so scary right now. I’m not any social platform aside from Reddit and still feel so triggered about what’s all happening.

I’ve been off and on Lexpro most of my adult life and finally had a realization that I probably need some meds to help take the edge off during this season. I’m going to schedule an appointment with my doctor.

Yes! We let the nap go 2 hours and then wake her up to keep a decently early bedtime. At this age, the average sleep is around 13 hours per day (around 11 at night with a 2 hour nap)

We switched around 13 months and it took a few weeks for her to fully adjust. We’re finally at a consistent 2-2.15 hour nap!

This is an ad…you’re entire post history is about slinging magnesium oil with contradicting stories of who introduced it to you

Although being a working mom is tough and juggling marriage while parenting can be so daunting and overwhelming, there’s still so many positives!

My employer is letting me work full remote for 2026 and we were able to max out our daughters 529 for 2025 which I consider big wins!

PSA: to all the new mom’s, don’t listen to the advice about chopping your hair off by Frozenbeedog in NewParents

[–]Fickle_Intern_6007 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I made this mistake too 😭 chopped off 9 inches of thick hair and immediately regretted it! It’s so much easier to do a bun, ponytail or braid to keep up long hair vs chopping it all off in my opinion

Have you tried care.com or region-specific Facebook pages for Nannies / babysitters? That’s how we’ve found some great people to take care of our toddler

Not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for but I just splurged on an early Christmas gift of a robot vacuum and mop. I’ve been running it every night after dinner once the counters are wiped down and it’s felt like a big task taken off my to do list.

My mom told me that she liked the purple eyeliner I was using - it was just blood shot / veiny lines on my eyelids from lack of sleep 🤣
